In October 2021, Scott Hemer and his wife Stacy reopened The Geneseo Store, continuing a tradition of over 35 years as part of both the local and college communities.

 

Scott returns to Geneseo after spending 11 years at SUNY Geneseo as the head coach of the women’s basketball program. The Hemers currently live in Batavia, NY, where their two sons- Grady (14) and Luke (12), attend Batavia.

Middle School (both love basketball and baseball like their father).

Stacy is a 5th-grade teacher who uses her creativity to decorate the store for an upcoming holiday or college event. Their family is excited to be a part of the Geneseo community once again!
